Excellent choice! Close enough that major attractions are a short drive, but far enough to be away from crowds. Beach is just across the street! Clean, spacious, quiet. Washer and dryer were a plus I never knew I needed on vacation! The loft bedroom with it's own balcony gave the teens their own space. Lots of closet space. Kitchen was ready to go. Beach chairs and pool noodles were tucked in a closet too! If available, we will come back!

The location was ideal since it was just north of all the traffic in Myrtle Beach, a one or two minute drive from probably 20 restaurants and also just across the street from the beach. The condition and layout of the condo were also great. There was plenty of room for four adults and two kids.

Loved the dual balconies over the pool so the kids could swim all day and night and were able to see them perfectly while relaxing pool side or from the balcony with easy access to the beach. This was my kids first trip to the ocean they loved this condo. It had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. The only thing I would change would be to allow for early check in and or late check out to accommodate for flight times. It is difficult to be from out of town and have nowhere to go. Everything was as it was described on the listing and we had an excellent vacation!

Location to the beach, shopping, and dining was exceptional within only a few short miles! The condo was absolutely perfect for the 5 of us! The only reason I gice the property a 4 and not a 5 was because the dryer wasn't heating well and it took 2-3 cycles to dry a load of clothes. Likely a clogged vent or something but, nevertheless, took a lot of time.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I had never rented thi type of condo before, but as we walked into the room and looked through the expansive patio doors leading onto the corutyard, WOW can only express a small portion of what we took in. The place was clean and spacious the veiw was spectacular the staff thatwe interacted with were very polite and very helpfull.There was some maintenance work being done on the complex and these people were polite and tried theirbest to keep the noise level down and not disturb us; They could have waited till somewhere around noon to start work but what the heck they need to make a living!!!! LOL

We looked at a number of location along the beach and decided on Anchorage based on the numerous positive and glowing reviews. We saw the pictures and absolutely fell in love with the location. The unit we stayed in was a bit dated and could have used some updates overall. However, every aspect indicated that the unit was cared for and kept clean and tidy. The condo was very centrally located and with just a walk across the street to the beach the kids were absolutely thrilled. The view speaks for itself and being able to sit on one of two balconies and listen to the ocean in the evening after the kids were in bed was great! We had our own access to the balcony from the master bedroom. Check in could have been done in advance and was the one thing that we found to have problems with. After arriving we had to go from Unit 1 to Unit 2 and hunt down a small office located in the parking lot. There was no staff there and had to call to get directions. Upon arriving at our unit we had the wrong key code and were unable to access the condo and had to call the rental management team again. They were very apologetic and quick to help us but would have been easier to have the information in advance of arrival. That set aside we would go back again and again with the kids. Thank you so much to the family who owns the condo for renting out their place to our family. It is a rare gem in Myrtle beach.

It took 3 trys and we finally had to separate the beds and use twin sheets. The sheets which were supposed to be for a king sized bed did not fit. Other than that small problem, the condo was great and we enjoyed it as much this year as we did last year. Looking forward to returning in 2016

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely holiday condo complex, with a heated pool that is cleaned daily, and a goegeous beach just steps away. This unit has one of the best views, overlooking the pool and the ocean. The furnishings and décor are a bit tired looking, but it's comfortable. The upstairs loft has its own separate balcony. The property management personnel were very prompt and helpful in attending to things that required attention (eg. leaking frig, patio door not sliding properly). The grounds are well kept and pretty.

Reviewer Comments: It was a great place, close to everything didn't travel that far, the most 10 minute drive to big places like broadway at beach etc. Right by the water, clean sand, private beach, there were people which was awesome. Very nice place and quite no noises from other people in the other condos! Must go check it out :) Great owners.

There was everything we needed to live for a week away from home and even a dishwasher, which I don't have at home. It was quiet at night so we could sleep peacefully. I would defiantly recommend Anchorage for anyones Myrtle Beach vacation & have already. Hope to be able to come back again soon.
