Carolina Dunes 504

This was our first time to Myrtle Beach. Condo was clean, spacious and everything we needed. Check-in and check-out process was easy. Linens were included, along with a washer and dryer in unit. We were very pleased with our accommodations. The beach was clean and it was a nice luxury to have beach chairs in the unit, however, you could rent them on the beach if you wanted to. Close to everything but far enough away for some peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

Nice place in sort of a party atmosphere, yet family oriented. Beach was crowded, but accessible. Salt water pool was very warm in the afternoon. Very nice views and rigjt on the ocean. Pull out couch with two bedrooms and 3 beds. Overall a great time.

we were there to visit my son. My parents in their 80's loved the location, the room layout and the balcony. Theysaid it was very comfortable and they definitely would be back. The management staff were also very helpful.

We have stayed at Carolina Dunes the past several because we prefer it being a smaller complex - easy access to parking, elevators. The location is convenient to nice restaurants, walking as well as shopping for any daily needs. Condo 504 is our favorite. The unit is nicely maintained and furnished. We particularly enjoy the balcony. It is comfortable and allows us to relax as well as enjoy the view in all types of weather. The rental staff always does an excellent job in preparing the unit before arrival. It is a pleasure to stay here. Just as described!

The furniture and beds were all comfortable.A few items that need to be addressed:1. the toilet in the master bath is having issues flushing and the plunger in the back gets stuck thus not filling the tank up with water for the next flush.2. some kind of Wi-Fi needs to be provided. To use the open network that Carolina Dunes offers is completely unsafe, and it may have caused an intrusion on one of my family members phones already.

Carolina Dunes is an older building, and we were a little concerned when we got on the very shabby elevators to go up to our 5th floor unit. The foyer was very clean, but the luggage carts, while appreciated, were rickety, old and dirty. First impressions count. The grounds, parking lot and pool areas were all clean and nicely done. We were very pleased with the condo. It was spotlessly clean, cool, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed and there was a game closet with games, books and puzzles. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of extra linens and towels. The laundry closet was a small stackable unit and the dryer was tiny and kind of useless. Even after emptying the lint screen after each use, it didn't really get things dry. So if you pack lightly thinking you're going to do laundry - don't. We would have reported this - but who wants maintenance in their unit while on vacation? There was another closet packed full of beach supplies - chairs, buckets, toys, boogie boards. Much appreciated. One of the chairs was rusted shut, so when I texted the manager to let them know, they brought us a new chair within 30 minutes. The location is perfect... the nicest part of Myrtle Beach in my opinion. Close to the nicer restaurants (such as Ruth's Cris) and higher end golf clubs (Grand Dunes), and it's just a few miles to the other touristy attractions. The ocean front balcony is spacious and has nice furniture. Would stay there again!

We had the perfect stay. Location is great. Property is exactly as described. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Balcony furniture is nice and comfortable. The iron in the unit does need replaced as it is scorched very badly and will leave marks on your clothes. That is our only very minor complaint.

5 Star indeed... beautiful comfortable decor...We ladies all agreed the condo was more lovely in person, than online pics... 5 Girlfriend reunion with the perfect space indoors, poolside and beachside...Just wonderful... Our only critiques were very minor.. The Luxury Rental staff was less than personable or welcoming with any phone calls to the number. You could not feel that guest relations hospitality smile or lilt in their voices. The other minor critique is bedding. Additional blankets for each of the beds would have been welcomed. With sun drenched bodies, hot outdoor temps, the combo of cool AC and cozy blanket adds to ideal sleeping environment. We hope to make this an annual destination of laughter and lovely relaxing beach vibes to #504.

This unit offers a king, a queen, a double and a hide-away bed along with two full baths. Our only disappointment was that the double bed is in need of a new mattress. We are already making plans to reserve this unit again next year.

This is really home away from home. Apartment had everything that we needed. Clean towels and bathrooms, washer and dryer, coffee makers, toaster, Gorgeous View.... Only downside is that guests in other apartment were smoking on a balcony so we couldn’t sit outside, but that’s not the fault of the owner. Overall we loved it, and will come back again!

We felt that the property was clean and true to description. My wife and I loved being able to walk right out to the beach and sit in the sun and drink a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall the location was perfect. Close but far away from the touristy areas. I like the smaller building due to not a lot of people. The only thing I can complain about that will not happen all the time is people shooting off fireworks at midnight most nights. I recommend this condo!!

What an amazing place to enjoy the beach! The bedrooms were so comfy and beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked with the basics, and the living area had nice seating and a big tv for the guys to watch some football! It was a great touch that they provided beach chairs too! We loved the balcony and enjoyed some beach walks and time in the ocean. Would definitely return to 504!

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. Plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. The bedrooms are large and even though the master does not have a balcony, it does have an access door to the balcony off the living room along with big windows that look out to the ocean. Condo was also very clean when we arrived. Great price for ocean front and very good location in Myrtle. We will definitely look to stay in this unit again

I have been coming to the beach for 50 years and with my husband and family for 25. The unit was spotless and so well equipped. The decorations and furniture is quality and elegant but still has that "beach vacation " feel. We are already planning a May long weekend and will be reserving the same unit again soon. I have stayed at Carolina Dunes for more than 20 years and Unit 504 is the best I have experienced. We had a wonderful long weekend! Sun, sand, food ....loved the new Rip Tydz restaurant too.

This condo was fabulous, from the moment we walked in it was exactly the way the phots are shown. The view took our breath away and the large balcony was fitting for our family. The communication prior to our visit was just enough. We were central to North MB & MB proper so it made touring very easy. The private parking is ideal. Kitchen was spacious & stocked with all kitchen needs. Perfect for breakfasts & lunches; dinner was always out. Publix & Kroger nearby. The bed mattresses were wonderful, but some (not all) of the pillows could be replaced for fluffier. Bathrooms were very nice. In-condo washer/dryer was excellent. I would suggest a drying rack or stand for wet suits. The garden & pool grounds were maintained and perfect for photo ops. BTW Barefoot Landing & Broadway on Beach were nice. Totally enjoyed Carolina Opry, such a nice variety show, kids actually enjoy...whew! We will be back, no complainants here...Love

The condo was immaculate and had all the amenities. We had two teenage girls with us, and if you know how teenage girls can be....well, they can be hard to please. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this unit because of a wedding being held on the beach. The condo was very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. The move in list stayed no soap, hair products, blow dryer, sink detergent and trash bags and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom or paper towel. This particular unit had soap and hair products which was nice I brought all the items listed thank goodness. The only negative issues where one bathroom had barely any toilet paper on the roll and the sheets in the master bedroom had a few stains on the fitted sheet. Looked like possibly an iron print or shoe scuff. One other thing is check out is 10:00am. It should at least be 11:00.

The only critique I have is the restriction on the air conditioner. 68 degrees is too hot for comfortable sleeping.

It was exactly as pictured, tastefully decorated, very clean and had plenty of room. It had everything we needed, including hairdryers and beach chairs! We also enjoyed access to the tiki bar, lazy river, heated pool and convenience shop at the resort right next door. The best part was being able to sit on the balcony with coffee in the morning to the beautiful, relaxing view of the ocean. The only downside would be that it was a little noisy in the front bedroom because we were right by the elevator, and we had to have the cable boxes reset, but the management company came right out and took care of that. Overall, we had a lovely stay and all agreed that we would check on the availability of this condo fist if we are ever lucky enough to be able to return!

Being an oceanfront property made relaxing and sleeping a breeze because you can hear the waves crashing in the ocean!! My family and I spent the time away to bond and it was very easy because the owner provided the room with games and we had very little distractions being away from the Myrtle Beach strip. Also when we went to the ocean, we didn't have to worry about paying fees for lounge chairs because those were provided as well!!I would definitely recommend this property to any family wanting a nice vacation away from the noise and busy area of the Myrtle Beach strip. We will definitely be staying here again! !
