Carolina Dunes 704

This property has been under construction for months but buried that information. The title still claims it is a two valcony property even though both have been closed according to the agent for 3 months. They were very happy to keep our deposit.

The view from the balcony is amazing especially with no roof overhead. Shaded after 2:00 and cool all summer. Large rooms and well appointed.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was very quiet, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The balcony was, by far, our favorite place to hang out. We loved that eating our dinner out there. I would return to this place anytime!

This was our second stay at this particular condo. We absolutely love the location, the space in the condo is great and the spacious balcony is amazing! The balcony is very private, which is a huge plus for us.
I'm a huge stickler for clean/nice towels and sheets. I love the fact you can actually tell these items are a priority for the management company and are greatly appreciated. The condo overall was nicely cleaned and prepared for us.
There are some minor items that need attention by the owner. All are very easy fixes and were brought to the attention of the hosting company, who acknowledged they would look into issues. None of the issues took away from us enjoying this condo and our vacation. We would definitely rent this condo again.

This condo was well appointed and a great place to stay for a family Christmas get away. The balcony is huge and the electric fireplace was a nice feature. We really enjoyed it a lot. Worth noting too, is that it was 200.00 cheaper renting thru VRBO than it was on the competitions website.

Had an amazing time with my family in this unit. Everyone was pleased with all the amenities. (would love to have had a sweeper or broom available to get sand cleaned up). Would love to have this unit again, but may need to choose another week. Did not know the code for the restroom by the pool would have been very helpful for the kids. ***** + (5 stars +).

Sunset and sunrise brings an inner peace that is opposite from the weekly rushed schedule. Kick back and listen to the waves below and just relax. The penthouse space is great and well worth the up charge. 704 desperately needs a coat of paint. Carpet anywhere outside the bedrooms with sand and water is kinda gross too. Other than that the unit was good but I've stayed in many units and this is the first one that I felt that the beds were uncomfortable and wasnt able to sleep.

We are at the beach so get some new beach chairs!!!! There were 5 of us... all 60 plus and we really couldn’t enjoy the beach like we wanted to. Also could use some kitchen towels .. we found none. The location is great and the large deck was nice . We do love MB!

There were a few housekeeping lapses in attention to detail, such as some mold on the shower curtain liner and some men's underclothes (clean, I assume) being left behind in an armoire, and a load of wet towels in left in the washer. Otherwise, everything was perfect and made for a fantastic visit. Maintenance personnel were often visible and tending to the property and removing trash, which was a good sign. I would recommend this unit. The furnishings are a bit dated but fun and funky and we liked it.

We loved the HUGE deck and the great view. It could use a some maintenance such as light bulbs that were out and the cable TV had issues with how to operate that system... A sheet with some directions would have been helpful. But overall we would definitely go back. We enjoyed the penthouse and Myrtle Beach.

They get sun all day unlike the floors below. Very tastefully decorated although furniture is showing some wear. Beds were very comfortable (we only used the 2 king bed rooms). Plenty of towels provided. I like to cook and the frying pan selection was very limited. You may want to bring your own. Could use a deep cleaning (kick plates, baseboards etc.) but was definitely surface cleaned when we arrived.

It was a perfect size for my family of 6. What I loved about the house was that it wasn't busy with a lot of people and noise as the hotels next to us, yes it's not that many features such as vending machines etc as you would have in the next hotel but I like my vacation to be peaceful and not crowded & noisey and more private. There's so many good options at Myrtle, anything you can think of they have. Cannot wait to book again here.

We have always stayed at this building every year, but this was our first time using Luxury Beach Rentals.Previously we had reserved through the Caravelle - but after multiple reservation mishaps on their part, we decided to go through LBR. The condo was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped with the essentials of everyday living.Not only were we impressed with the cleanliness of the condo, but we were pleased with the care taken by the groundskeeper at the property. I visit Myrtle Beach every year and will definitely consider staying at The Carolina Dunes again.
