The stay was OK when we arrived. The fridge was very dirty on the outside some of the kitchen where as forks and spoons were very dirty and some of the furniture had wear and tear the TV with the two smaller beds did not work at all I couldn’t even watch Netflix in the living room because the remote had low batteries and it just took me to the LG channels. There was a roach behind a sofa and I could tell the cleaning staff didn’t even clean because of the fact that I got a notification saying that place was clean already by 12 by far, the cleaning a two out of five.

We booked the place in March and did not know that the outside railing would be under construction. We literally booked this place because of the advertised balcony as it was the “penthouse view”. I found out about a month before vacation that it was under construction but was scheduled to be complete 3 days before we got there. I got a text 2 days prior saying they failed inspection so we would not be able to use the balcony at all. They offered either a full refund, a relocation if anything was available (there wasn’t), or a 20% refund. Being that it was 2 days before our family vacation I couldnt cancel so we took the 20%. The 20% refund was for the inconvenience of not being able to use the balcony. Well, from 8am to 6pm every single day we got the thrill of extremely loud drilling, banging, more drilling and more drilling. It was horrible. You could barely hold a conversation at the pool and staying in the room was not doable unless you were deaf. I contacted the management company and they did add an additional 500 refund which was nice. Outside of the 8-6 timeframe it was a nice stay. I liked the place itself. Good location. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away. Unfortunately the noise issue left a permanent scar on this family’s vacation.

While we did our best to notify guests as early as possible and offer alternatives, I recognize that a last-minute change like this—especially when options are limited—can really impact your vacation plans. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the condo itself, the location, and that you were satisfied with the additional refund, but we’re genuinely sorry that the noise from construction made your time in the unit uncomfortable. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, the unit was dirty. The master bath shower had mold everywhere. The wall in the master bed looks like it is ready to cave in. The floor leading into the master bed is ripping up. The bathroom vanity is warped and falling apart at the bottom. The kitchen cabinets are old and rickety. The one directly beneath the island doesn’t even have a bottom. Most of the kitchen cookware and utensils are worn and rusted and need to be replaced. The dryer was horrible. It took multiple cycles to dry a load. The fridge pictured is not the one you get. It’s a lot smaller with no ice-maker. The closet doors in the twin bedroom are off the tracks. There was a broken picture tucked away behind a dresser. The living/dining room area is decent. Location is great, view is beautiful. Maintenance was nice. Overall, for the price you pay, I would not recommend this unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon opening the door we were met with an extremely pungent musty/moldy odor throughout the space. I immediately turned the thermostat on and a stale odor began coming from the air conditioning system. The AC wasn’t cooling and the inside temperature averaged 77 -78 degrees in the unit. The ceilings throughout the unit have various stains ranging from dark rust to gray colored blotches, cracks, holes, exposed screws, peeling and sagging plaster.The safety glass on the oven door has vertical streaks inside of the glass and some drawers and cabinet doors are misaligned and appear to be offset/off-track. The upholstered furniture throughout the unit has an unpleasant odor emanating from them as well as the drapery mattresses, pillows, and linen in the queen and king bedrooms ( the twin bedroom has the same conditions, but we did not use that room). In addition to the odor in the drapery, there were missing wands, some were off track and drooping/hanging from their transoms. The main bathroom shower curtain pole is bent and rusted at the center seam and the vent grate has a thick layer of dust etc., covering it and mildew or mold around the base. The shower head drips after being used. And, the toilet runs.The Queen Bedroom power cords were tangled and dangling near the doorway, blinds are damaged-numerous slats are bent and gaping open. The valance is stained and hanging, and the battery cover for the remote was missing. The left side top drawer is uneven, ceiling has cracking, and is stained. The bed and pillows have a musty/stale smell.The Main Bedroom’s ceiling has small holes, cracks, and discolored patches. The drapery has odor emanating from it and the panel at the patio door is missing the wand and hanging off the track. The bed, pillows, and ottoman smell musty/stale and the ottoman is also stained.The bathroom light fixture screws are not completely in holes. Mold/mildew in shower, vent layered with dust, mold. The furniture is dented

We had to wait for them to have somebody come out and investigate. In the meantime, not one person or manager came up to help us do anything all they brought us was trash bags to put our clothes in and throw out or go wash somewhere. And then they had the nerve to give me two phone numbers for me to contact another place to stay.

Patio furniture was all rusted and torn seats. The kitchen needed to be updated. Cabinets rotten out on the flooring and under the sink in the kitchen sink was mold and mildew was terrible. Dryer was loaded light and it still took 3x's to dry clothes. Old Beach chairs and beach supplies all out of date. In the living room was a broken lamp had not at least been glued. I went to move the couch and there was broken glass under it and I cut my right hand. Curtains in bedrooms worn out with see through areas. The master bedroom shower light was out. The fridge is too small for a Penhouse. The stove was dirty DID NOT USE. Glad I brought my Emeril Air Fryer with all the options, bake, broil, fry, dual cooked sides. It cook's everything. Thank U Lord For That! All Cooking Pans and dishes were nothing special and alot of items were not even furnished that was needed. For what we paid for 2 weeks was outrageous. If u need someone to do ur renovation on this unit give me and my husband a call. Maybe this way we could stay for free to renovate for this owner of Penhouse #702. Please updated ur pics for ur units. I will never stay here again. Yall need to reevaluate and renovate ur Penhouse #702

This spot is spacious and great for families. It’s a little far out for an adult nightlife trip but good vibes if you have a large group or children and a car. Overall amenities were as described plenty of beach house essentials like coffee pots & utensils, pans etc. would def stay again.

I loved that it was keyless entry so we could come/go independently. Master bathroom was too narrow to walk through and shower was difficult getting in/out of for a person with knee/back problems. Kitchen, family room and patio were great!

We had very good vacation but some things was not good from beginning.when we came in our suite we see kitchenware was not good clean,beach chairs was broken.we went to Walmart and bought everything,clean our kitchen,brought beach chairs (not expensive) umbrella and we was happy all vacation.location was very good,view from balcony was fantastic,beach very clean and good for small kids.a lot of good restaurants close to building .i very recommended this property for vacation,we had very good time and hope came back next time for vacation in Myrtle Beach.thanks for good vacation

The property is spacious and overall well maintained. We were only here for 4 full days, so it satisfied our overall needs. However, I will say the bathrooms in particular are a little dated and the one in the master had a mildew smell- likely since there is no window. Some touch ups to the property could be done to make it slightly nicer, like paint on the walls and updating bedding/pictures. The kitchen is beautiful and updated. Overall the furniture is in great condition. The balcony is spacious and the view just what we wanted, but the furniture again could use some updating as it was a little rusted. Location could not be more perfect and the pool and beach were impeccable. We had one issue towards the end of our trip with the door not locking but I am unsure why and cause we were leaving the next day we didn't ask for it to be fixed for us. Overall, it was a great location and good space, really mostly aesthetics that need some updating and the bathrooms, but you cannot beat the view and overall beach experience. They were both amazing.

Reviewer Comments: The property is in a great location, the layout of the condo was nice, large living and dining area with floor to ceiling glass doors that overlook the ocean. Balcony was fantastic, great views with fairly basic but new(ish) patio furniture. You can tell that some upgrades have been done to the unit (flooring, kitchen appliances) but still would need a few upgrades to really make it top notch (painting, decorating, redo bathrooms, upgrade TV size in two of the rooms, replace dryer - it barely works, new couches and easy chairs, front door). It is just lacking some of the little details, but still a nice property and nice place to stay. Outdoor pool is nice, walkway to beach nice, just a few steps to the beach. Would stay here again for the right price and right time of year.

The dryer did not put out much heat and oven controls were impossible to read which were the only inconveniences. Property management needs to be a bit more observant, as one or two bulbs were missing or did not work. I would definitely stay here again.

All was exceptionnel (situation on the beach, spectacular view over the ocean, great balcony, general quality of furniture. and so on. However, some minor equipments doesn't work when we came in ( a lamp in the living room and one curtain in the master bedroom).Also, the toaster is too small to accommodate 6 people. But it doest'n matter. We had a great time and be sure we will be back as soon of possible.

The accomodations were extremely spacious, clean, and full of all the amenities you could possibly need; including boogie boards and beach chairs! The condo is in a quiet part of Myrtle Beach, yet close to all the fun activities Myrtle Beach has to offer. We had a memorable vacation that was topped off by watching a pod of dolphins play in the ocean from our balcony on our day of departure! Luxury vacation rentals is a reliable company and handled all of our vacation needs professionally and quickly. Arrival at the condo was smooth and everything was provided as promised. We would definitely stay in this vacation rental unit again.

Very clean, very close to grocery store and restaurants, even thou we cooked in a lot. We had a little problem with the kitchen sink getting clogged up but maintenance took care of it immediately. The staff was so nice.

The management company was very easy to work with and the condo was nicely updated and clean. The view can not be beat! It was hard to leave to go back to NJ! Hope we can come again soon!

The complex is also very nice and you can not beat the location. This was our second time and we cant wait to come back!

I sat every morning drinking my coffee watching the dolphins swim by. What a treat!! The condo was very clean and the management company was great to work with. Check in was very easy. We have already made plans to return in the Spring.

Beautiful penthouse view of the beach and ocean. Staff was very polite and nice. Could have used an extra skillet for cooking but other than that they had plenty of amenities for our 5 night stay. We will be looking to go back again next year.

It rained for a few days while we were there but we still made the best of it. We had an accident when we went to the Aquarium. A young guy hit our car and messed it up pretty bad. I am excited to have something to look forward to next year. I would love to come and stay at this same place.

It was amazing to see the ocean as we walked out of our bedroom and living room and very convenient to the boardwalk and broadway at the beach. I give it an A+ overall.

This unit was very clean and well maintained. They also provide beach chairs which was a nice surprise. Wish we could have stayed two weeks!
