Family vacay
We just got back from our week stay in this condo at the Carolinian resort and wanted to pass on my thoughts and review since I looked through many of yours when looking into coming down for our stay. The condo was perfect for our needs! The check in was easy and seamless for us. The condo was clean and comfortable for our group which was our family of four with two toddlers and our parents. The view was perfect and so nice to take in the sunrises and fireworks at night plus the view of the boardwalk and skywheel. Having the full size kitchen and refrigerator was so nice to be able to cook meals for the kids and not have to eat out every meal. The condo was not “deep” cleaned but wasnt dirty and I felt comfortable staying there. The beds were not very comfortable either but not unbearable. The resort itself was fine for our needs. We are up early and on the beach by 0900 so we had no problem walking straight out of the private beach boardwalk to set up our spot on the beach with the kids which is ideal with the little ones. The pools are nice that there is a whole shaded area with a lazy river and small pool that is heated so our little ones enjoyed playing in after the beach while we could sit on the loungers around and relax as much as you can with a 3 and 1 year old. During the day the pools were not over crowded but in the evening and night it deff was way crowded and no where to sit for the parents. The construction is right next door on the beach and was very loud some days but not every day and we could not hear it from our condo on the 21st floor with the patio door shut. There were condo staff out at all times helping and cleaning. Now the parking to me was the most annoying part but once again not a deal breaker. We have a family member that cannot walk far distances so we have a handicap parking pass and the availability of handicap parking is very limited. There is one handicap spot upfront, and then the parking lot behind the desk is a paid parking lot that we were told you were able to park in with a handicap for free. However, in the middle of the day and evening all of those spots were mostly taken and most days we had to drop off our parents and go park in the garage that is over a block away. The parking garage is about a block and a half from the resort and is not a large vehicle friendly. So we had to park on the top floors and then walk down and then back to the resort anytime we didn’t have a handicap spot available. Once again, not a dealbreaker, but definitely can be annoying after a long hot day. Also, if needing to carry a lot from the car, can also be a lot with the kids though they do allow 15 minute parking upfront next to the elevators to unload and load if there is room and all the spots aren’t taken by other guests. The location is also nice as well as you are close to everything though I don’t know if I would feel comfortable walking with small ones after dark. We also were told by a lady that lives in the resort that windows from vehicles have been busted out for valuables if parked on the street overnight so we did not feel comfortable leaving our truck overnight in the street parking if one was open anyways. Overall, though we had a very good week and I would definitely come back and stay in the area oceanfront for its value and all the things to do for the kids and adults.

The unit was clean with amazing views and comfortable beds. There are two mini-golf courses within walking distance. The pools/hot tub/lazy river at the Carolinian were nice. I was hesitant to rent a unit on the 21st floor due to not liking to wait for elevators; however, the elevators at the Carolinian was very speedy and we were never waiting for long.

We had a wonderful vacation at this condo. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The condo was very clean. It had everything that we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay at this condo next year if it is available.

The view was amazing and just as described. This penthouse was clean and comfortable. The dryer in the unit was broken so that was less than desirable when we wanted to dry our towels but when contacting the owner they worked quickly to get maintenance to fix it but couldn’t be fixed during our stay.

This penthouse lived up to my expectations. Great location, clean and looked just like the pictures. Beds were comfy and great kitchen amenities. Penthouse floor was very quiet and peaceful so all could hear was the ocean waves. The Oceanview was 1000%! I would definitely stay here again. Only bad part was I caught something from someone on the plane and my last three days I was ill and could not enjoy beach. But my accommodations were so cozy. We just ordered in watched Netflix and chilled on cozy sofa and chair. I got penthouse for mom for her birthday. We still made the best of it but Great Property!

Parking was a bit far for handicapped.
There is a city parking next to front desk. Handicap is free parking in any city parking. We stayed in the penthouse with was absolutely beautiful view.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It had a great location and amenities. The price was also comparable to others in the area. Would definitely stay here again!
