We love staying at this resort! It is away from a lot of the main part of MB so its neighborhood is more residential than commercial. The resort has so much for the whole family and all ages. The room could accommodate the whole family…5 adults and 3 children. We have been coming for several years and will continue to come back!

condo is in desperate need of updating furnishing. Bathrooms left much to be desired. Sink in master bathran continuously until we shut water off ourselves. Had people come to fix 3 times and each time they said theywould have to get a plumber. Seriously?

NO WATER?! We were noticed 2hrs before check in that they had a plumbing issue in only the master bathroom shower and offered compensation. We accepted and when we arrived, none of the toilets worked and there was no cold water to take a shower. We struggled to find a new place so had to stay the night but not being able to shower or use a toilet wasted our whole first day on vacation. We left early and were fully compensated but it was a horrible experience that should have been prevented if there was a known issue before we arrived.

We notified you as soon as we were made aware of the plumbing issue, which at the time was believed to be isolated to the master bathroom shower. Unfortunately, the situation required us to shut off the water to prevent further damage, which affected the toilets and cold water supply.
We understand how disruptive this was to your plans and appreciate your patience and understanding. We’re glad we could provide full compensation, but we completely agree this isn’t the experience anyone wants on vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room is just “ok”. Walls & doors had dirt on them. The whole place could use a fresh coat of paint. Mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Leaky faucets. **** roach crawling on bedroom floor on last night. The whole resort is very rundown & old. For the money we paid, we expected much better conditions. We won’t go back & do not recommend it.

Ok. If you stay here, prepare to be surrounded by some seriously less than desirable people. The whole complex smells awful and there are some really dirty people running around. It puts the dirty in dirty myrtle. Great location, but overpriced for the issues i experienced. The couches are disgusting and smelled like drunk people have slept on them. Shower took like four rotations to get hot water, I thought the dial was broken. I checked out a full day early

We’d like to clarify that the property uses a boiler system for hot water, which can require running the water for an extended period before it heats up, especially during peak usage times. We understand this can be frustrating if you're not aware of it, and we’ll work on making this information more visible to future guests.
Regarding the condition of the couches, we will look into having them professionally steam cleaned. Cleanliness and guest comfort are extremely important to us, and we take these kinds of comments seriously.
We also want to note that we did not receive any communication from you regarding these matters during your stay. Had we known about these issues, we would have done everything we could to address them immediately and make your stay more comfortable.

Thanks to Hurricane Debby, it rained every day except 2 but our condo was a great place to play cards, watch movies, eat good food, spend time with family and even take a nap.

Our stay was lovely. There were a few bumps in our stay but the manager and all of the maintenance people were fantastic. They took great care to ensure we had what we needed and were very responsive. We did have quite a few people stop in to fix things, but this just made the stay more enjoyable when it was all handled. The rooms were lovely and the space was just as described. I would recommend this location to my friends and family.

Dunes Village Resort is a large condo complex located oceanfront in a nice section of North Myrtle Beach. Our unit was clean, well stocked with kitchen items as well as linens & very comfortable. The balcony overlooks the beach. 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms were perfect for our extended family of 12. The beach is flat & clean & the outdoor pools, indoor pool plus water park is an added plus for the kids. We would return & recommend this unit.

Nice location, great water park and pool. Long distance from beach especially for a large family. Need a cart to carry stuff. Tiki bar big hit!! Parking across the street!! The shuttle was never available

It was our first time in Myrtle Beach in January, and it was great. The water park and kids activities offer so much to do. The condo was clean and well laid out. The kitchen was on the small side, but fully stocked, and it was nice to have the large dining table. Three of the bedrooms had ocean views and balconies, but the view from the master up the coast was unbelievable. Even on the 10th floor, you could hear the ocean at night. The staggered layout of the bedrooms was also helpful for limiting noise between the rooms. The parking garage was convenient (make sure and get the cards from the front desk and get them for the kids to easily go between the two buildings), but it was nice to have the big drop off area. Do pay attention to make sure you are going to the right elevator.

The unit has beautiful views, but the mgmt company is not keeping it up. I would be furious if I were the owners. The dishwasher was broken. The stove does not work well. Every faucet leaks badly (their poor water bill!). There is a massive leak under the kitchen sink that’s ruining the cabinets. Some kitchen drawers do not open. The baseboards are disgusting. There are massive cobwebs in the windows. The windows leaked in both bedrooms leaving pools of water when it rains. There is massive, growing water stains on the ceiling from plumbing leaks. We tried to call the mgmt company 2x and left voicemails with no return call. After calling multiple times they sent someone who did not fix a thing.
The instructions to get in are hard to find and the lock is hard to operate.
The building amenities are nice, but we were never told ahead of time that one of the two water parks would be closed for renovations the whole time we were visiting.
We won’t be back.
