Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 5 days at Forest Dunes. We received a text our condo was ready early Monday afternoon. It was almost 1:00 pm. We arrived at 6:00 pm. The toilet in the master suite was not flushing properly. My husband plunged the toilet several times before retrieving a bar of soap out of it. He thought that might have unclogged it. However, it did not. We had to request maintenance to come out. Even after maintenance addressed the toilet issue it was still having issues the next day. It started working correctly by day 3. There was blood stains on the sheets in one of the guest rooms. There was a left over coffee filter with coffee grounds in the coffee pot. These are the only complaints. The condo itself was perfect. Great location, great views, friendly and helpful people. We loved the pool area and bar/grill. We are grateful we had a place that accommodated the whole family.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and clean. Beautiful views. We had our 3 young grandchildren with us and I don't really like them on the balcony so the floor to ceiling windows were perfect for the kids and my nerves. The location was perfect and family friendly. The only complaint is the wifi and cable didn't work the whole time. I contacted the host but nothing was done. Hopefully they addressed it after we left.

The place was in a great location. Other than that I would not recommend this place. The dishwasher was disgusting. We had to buy our own pillows due to the condition of the ones given. There was mold on the shower curtain. We also had to purchase sheets to even sit in the couch. I should not have to strip the sheets of the bed. That’s why we pay a cleaning fee. Also, the internet was out most of the trip. Please save your money and get a hotel.

The condo was updated and in a great location. Easy access to a private beach and just minutes from shopping and restaurants. The property manager provided great service as well. Even though this was in the heart of Myrtle Beach it was still a very quiet and relaxing stay.

We enjoyed our January and February stay. Plenty of space with the 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths. Great view of the beach from our living room and balcony. The furnishings were comfortable and well stocked. Large balcony was enjoyable with plenty of sun. I just wished the slider from our bedroom to the balcony wasn't bolted closed. Comfortable beds and loved the view from the master bedroom. Large master bath and plenty of closet space. Quite beach just across the street with a great cabana to enjoy the peaceful view of the beach. On site restaurant, but it is closed during the off season. I used the nature walk along the street everyday. The pools were very nice, and the indoor pool is heated. It was good to have a washer and dryer in the condo.

Perfect location for us, directly across the street from beach yet close to many of our favorite restaurants. Views from condo were awesome. Only issue was being in a building with about 150 units and only 2 elevators both on same end of building. Perfect size for a family or two families. Loved using the outdoor pools and hot tub. Beach was great and not overly crowded at this location. Would stay again. Only negative is there really isn't extra supplies so when you go to the grocery store grab salt and pepper and some cleaning supplies.

Expect to rent chairs, if you don't bring them. If you are okay with walking a half a mile to stores and restaurants you won't need a car. If you don't have a car and don't want to walk, the Uber and Lyft services are quick and smooth.

A few things that would have made the stay perfect: a better mattress in the master bedroom. It was like sleeping on concrete. The master bathroom shower had a huge gnat issue due to a drainage issue.

This is a great place to enjoy the gorgeous beach. Access to the beach is so quick and easy and we loved having our meals looking out on the beach from the room. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there is actually 2 and 1/2 bathroom so that each bedroom has it's own bathroom too! We loved our time there.

The condo is well kept. Small things need fixed like window treatments up top and one of the stools is wobbly (missing screws), but nothing we couldn’t look past. All appliances working in condo. Pools were open. Gym was closed (thanks COVID). Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Close to shopping and many restaurants. Small park walking distance. Beach chairs were nice. Lots of extra towels provided. More than enough room for 5 adults and 2 small children. We can’t wait to plan another trip.

Due to the uptick in COVID-19 cases we were considering cancelling our trip due to the news reports of out of control cases in the Horry County area (Myrtle Beach). We were pleasantly surprised once we arrived to have plenty of room to social distance on the beach and didn't feel like we were affected at all with some of the changes to local community. We wore masks, bought food to eat in the condo the whole week, and asked people to not ride the elevator with us without wearing a mask too. We didn't want to be rude, but people understood for the most part and appreciated the extra precautions. Great weather and time spent with family. So glad we went ahead with our trip and encourage you to do the same.

Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo itself was incredibly spacious, and with tons of natural light and a lovely view of the beach. There were some very minor maintenance issues, such as a broken towel bar, broken trim in a doorway that was a tripping hazard. However, for the most part, the condo was lovely and clean. The outside of the complex looked a bit "tired" and was less impressive the the interior. I wouldn't say this was a major issue, and certainly no fault of the owners. The location is great with a very short walk to the beach. The view from the balcony is quite nice as well; you can see the ocean to the left and at night, fireworks to the right. My only critique would be with the supplies in the kitchen. There is not enough cutlery; I had to wash cutlery after every meal. There are not enough plates; bring paper plates or you will be washing plates after every meal as well. We made spaghetti for dinner one night; the largest pot was not nearly large enough. I had to make the pasta in 3 separate batches; it was not very conducive to a family meal. The kitchen is equipped with LOTS of glasses; more glasses than you would ever need. However, there are no plastic cups so you may want to bring some with you. All in all, we would return to this unit for a beach vacation.

This property is probably the prettiest in the Forest Dune building. The only thing I was surprised of not finding was hand or bath soap. Everything you need, including an incredible sunset was found. If ever back in Myrtle Beach, I hope this property is available.
