Forest Dunes - 609

The view from this condo is absolutely stunning—exactly what my husband and I were looking for to unplug, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with unforgettable ocean sunsets was truly beautiful.

The condo has a lot of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home—things like jewelry holders in the bed and bath rooms, cotton balls, and a magnified mirror were appreciated and made settling in easy.

That said, we did run into a few things worth mentioning. Upon arrival, the unit looked great at first glance, but we did notice some cleanliness issues that likely would have been caught with a more thorough walkthrough or cleaning checklist. Given the high ratings and reviews, our expectations were high in that regard.

Also, the toilet is unusually tall—something to be aware of if you're under six feet tall. At 5'6", I found it uncomfortable since only my toes could reach the floor. It's perfect for taller guests like my husband, but others will find it awkward and uncomfortable.

Lastly, while the AC cooled the space effectively, it did make a loud knocking sound and sometimes shut off with a very jarring sound. It was manageable, but definitely noticeable at night.

Despite these few hiccups, we had a relaxing time and felt refreshed when we left. The view alone made it worth it, and with a bit more attention to detail, this condo could easily be a 5-star experience every time.

This is our new favorite oceanfront Airbnb. It exceeded our expectations. They maximized every inch to bring the most breathtaking views. Only a few steps to the beach and convenient to everything else by car. We hated to leave and are anxious to return! Nice pool and great onsite bar & grill. Want to get away and unwind? This is the place!

Unit 609 is absolutely perfect! Everything was as it shows online. The unit owners are very responsive. The cleaning crew of the building were there daily and the common areas were always tidy and smelled nice. The unit itself has 2 balconies. You can see the ocean from anywhere in the unit! It’s beautiful! This unit is right next to the elevator so very convenient!! Great perk is Buckets Bar & Grill is on the bottom of the building & it’s a great place to grab some food & drinks before or after the beach! Beautiful view from there as well! I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone, especially couples, looking for an awesome location for staying at Myrtle! My husband and I LOVED it!!

We had a wonderful time in this unit. The views from the windows are amazing! We loved having two balconies also. The owners take the extra step in providing all of the kitchen essentials that you would need during your stay. It was very quiet and peaceful during the evening also. We didn't want to leave!

Lovely condo ..... perfect for the two of us ...... lovely to have a short walk to the beach which is fantastic & very clean ...... the views from both balcony’s were outstanding ...... lovely to watch sunrise from & to have breakfast.

It was a beautiful place. We loved the pool and hot tub plus the lazy river. It was very nicely decorated. Amazing views. We rented electric bikes and went all over. The down side was no one on site to help restock the items we ran out of. Like tolet paper and trash bags. The office down stairs does not own this unit so they do no provide this. If we would have been told in advance we could have been prepared
