Island Vista 4 Bdrm (9th floor)

very nice place to stay for a large family. very private feel on the beach, short drive to most everything we wanted to do while there.

The condo was great! I loved everyone having their own bathroom Comfortable beds, decently equipped kitchen, and amazing view. Only negative of the condo was the dryer it definitely struggled to dry clothes. However we planned for it and it required us to complete dry cycle twice. The property was great the kids loved the pools inside and out. I loved the proximity of the pools to the beach. Some people were at the pool while others were at the beach, but we still felt all together. Chairs were always available at the pool and they a policy where people cannot snag chairs early in the morning to claim their spot all day. I loved this. Only negative is they were mulching and the smell after the rain was unbearable. Around the pool area the chairs sit on grass not sure the grass is ideal. It looks like they resod it yearly. I would recommend putting in pavers. While the property was slightly outdated we would definitely stay here again.

This property was great! The pools were awesome. The location and access to the beach was great. We had an amazing time! We had everything we needed and the condo is very spacious. We would definitely stay at this property again.

This is a wonderful large condo. Our family enjoyed the space. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the big kitchen table that seated 10 people. The grandkids loved the swimming pools & hot tubs. It's perfect being right on the beach. Great family time!!!

The resort is gorgeous and lush with palm trees and hibiscus plants galore. At night there are fire pits to sit around while a live guitarist plays under the palm trees! The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful! Our unit was clean and just as pictured. The kitchen was lacking a coffee maker when we arrived but within an hour of calling - one was delivered to us! Also I’m glad I brought my own fry pan from home as the one supplied was small and not a non stick pan. The sleeper sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on. But the beds were great! The last few days of our stay the dishwasher stopped working and someone came to look at it even though it was a Sunday. He said someone would be back the next day to fix it- which to my knowledge didn’t happen, so I had to hand wash our last days dishes before check out. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return!

We had our family of 8 + 1 grandchild stay in this condo and it was great. We did have issues with a tv loosing power, a bath tube drain not draining and clothes dryer not drying very good. One phone call and the maint tech was there within 24 hours fixing it all. And the beach nor pool were crowded at all. This was even over the 4th of July. Only thing was that the VRBO price was a bit higher than what the Resort charges. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

Great location, spacious for a family of twelve. We had a lot of fun there and having four bathrooms made a huge difference. Everything was perfect, except we could have used a cart to help bring things to our room, we had to make several trips. We were told by the front desk that we did not book through them so we could not use their cart. The washing machine was super loud and the beds were a little hard.

Very cleans and spacious. Great location on the beach. The hotel would not let us use there carts to bring up our grocery because this was a private rental from what they said at the front desk.

Everything was exactly as described in the vacation rental ad. We used the pool and exercise facility daily and had lots of fun. The kitchen was well appointed and we ate in most of our meals. Highly recommend this property!

The location is perfect for a family looking to be off the more congested path of the main strip. The beach is beautiful and overall the facility is clean and accommodating. Our suite size was perfect for 7 people, and very clean. The food and service in the dining area was fantastic. The only things that could be improved were the following: no hot water some mornings, and the furniture in our suite needs replacing. The couch had a rip in the seam and the chairs had wobbly legs. Also, not sure what was being used, but when we first got there we really had to air the place out. It smelled of harsh chemical air fresheners. But after airing out, it was fine. All in all a nice place to stay.

Enjoyed our vacation staying in Island Vista Resort. The location is perfect. The beach is clean and not too crowded.
The condo was clean and mostly well furnished. While minor, I would note the living room furniture was a bit worn/sagging making it hard to get up from chair or couch. Would suggest an upgrade to balcony furniture as well. The rest of the condo was great. Modern updated kitchen. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.
I appreciated rental company checking to see if we needed anything.

We had 3 condos in Island Vista Resort managed by Luxury Beach Rentals. They were all clean, spacious and as described. The rental company was helpful and pleasant. The grounds were also well-managed and as described. The photos available are a true representation of the property. This is the first time I have been to Myrtle Beach and would stay at the place again. We will book through this company for vacations in MB moving forward. We were a group of women ranging in ages from early 30s to mid 40s. This property seemed appropriate for our group, and I think it is also very family friendly.

We had a wonderful week with family. The unit was comfortable and fully stocked with more than what we needed for a vacation stay. It is relaxing to sit on the balcony to watch the dolphins. Luxury Beach Rentals was in contact the second day to see if we needed anything. Had never had a management company check in before. We are already talking about booking for the third time next year.

My family and I stayed at Island Vista property. We had a great time! The facility was in a great location and all attractions were easily accessible. The unit was clean and no shortage of towels (important to me for staying in a condo). The living room furniture was a bit worn for comfortable seating especially the hide a bed couch but that was a minor item. All in all, the hotel and the condo were pleasant and made our stay enjoyable. I want to commend the property managers for their customer service...made us feel welcome and checked to ensure things were going well.

Beautiful 4Br./4 bath condo. Quiet area of Grand Strand with amazing pool/sunbathing area. Condo was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room my extended family of 10. Use of 2 beach chairs and umbrella all week was an extra nice bonus.
**Some negatives not fault of condo owner: lots of waiting for elevators and since not renting thru Island Vista resort we were not entitled to use of luggage carts, fitness room or kids club. So be prepared to make lots of trips to room with luggage and other vacation supplies since you have to carry everything.
Some suggestions: get nicer furniture for balconies and new refrigerator since freezer door would not stay closed form wear and tear. Otherwise wonderful condo and will definitely be back next year!!

We stayed in a 4br unit #910. Plenty of space for the 4 adults and 4 kids. Great views, clean space, pools nice, nice beach-not too crowded. Really have nothing bad to say about the whole process. We usually do an oceanfront house in nags head so carrying our beach stuff back to the room each day was a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker. I would recommend island vista to my friends and family. We had an excellent vacation at Myrtle beach/island vista.

The condo was very well appointed. We arrived and it was very clean. Luxury's staff was helpful and easy to reach. We left several clothes at the condo after checkout and they mailed them back to us; I'd say that they must have some honest workers. I was called on the day before we left to see if there were any maintenance issues that needed attention. That made me feel pretty good that they care about the next persons stay and want to maintain a quality product. We will use them again without question.

We were two families, totally 10 people. This condo (we rented both 910/920) was the perfect size to give everyone plenty of personal space, and tons of fun family gathering space. The location on the beach was absolutely perfect, no other large hotels on either side so our beach front was very quiet. The reserved beach chairs/umbrella were a luxury; however, we really needed two sets so we rented another one ourselves. It would have been nice to have one set for each unit, but that was really our only 'problem' with this rental.
Overall, it was one of our best beach vacations and we would definitely return!

The condo was wonderful, it was very clean and the beds were awesome! There were 9 of us staying in a 4 bedroom and we had plenty of room to spread out. The view from the balcony was amazing and it had plenty of room for all 9 of us out there at one time. The entire complex was nice and the Cypress Room restaurant had great food, great prices and a very friendly staff. The main pools, lazy river, kiddie pool & water basketball were all great too, and the beach was amazing!!! It was also nice that you get 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella, on the beach, included with the price of the condo. It was cloudy and rainy for almost our entire stay but we still had a great vacation. Will definitely stay there for our next vacation to Myrtle Beach!

We loved every minute of our summer vacation in this condo. Everything is so well taken care of and very clean! The kitchen was fully stocked with much more than we expected, we have stayed in other units in this building which were the exact opposite. The views are amazing from both balconies and plenty of space for our family of 12. The kids had plenty to do and the onsite restaurant is a must try. We will be back to this condo and highly recommend.

We loved our four bedroom condo. We had six adults and three children ages six, five and two. Everyone had enough room yet there was space to be together. The beach and pools were never crowded. You could see down the beach at other condos and their beach area was always crowded. We were also close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at this condo. We were looking for a large upscale condo for our vacation and this was perfect. The condo is very big and we had plenty of room to stretch out. The cleaning staff does a very good job as we found the condo spotless! The overall experience from start to finish was great! We will be back!
