The location of the place was good, it’s directly on the beach. The place wasn’t very clean. The ceiling fan in the upstairs main bedroom doesn’t work and the ceiling is peeling. The bathroom hadn’t been swept before we arrived. The bed comforter in the 2nd bedroom upstairs had stains on it so we had to run to Walmart to buy a blanket. The bed in the main room didn’t have a fitted sheet, just to flat sheets so the sheets kept coming off being exposed to the waterproof bed cover. Needs to be updated. The code to the door wasn’t sent until 4:05.

Overall not bad. The place was a bit dated and pull out couch had no blankets just a sheet set. Balcony view was good but so.e construction and pipe building right next to us was unnerving.

This condo was clean and matched the pictures unlike some of the reviews you'll see on here. no its not a 2024 renovation, but it's also not dated to 2002 like some reviews lead you to believe. great view of the ocean and south myrtle from the balcony. easy parking across the street with parking above the garage for taller trucks like ours. Walkable restaurants.
Only complaint I have is the TV did not work on the 2nd bedroom due to building wifi. And the mattress in the master bedroom could use to be replaced soon.
Everything else was great!

All in all it was a good place to stay. It seemed like it could use some maintenance and maybe a few more homey touches. I would not advertise Wi-Fi as it was all but useless. It was so slow it wasn’t even usable. They could also use a few extra blankets for the bedrooms. Could also use a few more household amenities when staying more than a few days. Other than that it was a very acceptable place to stay.

The pictures were clearly taken long ago. The condo was in need of repair walked in had a random piece of trim laying in the middle of the hall, paint was peeling from the ceiling, there was no toilet paper in the condo. There was a wet mold mildew smell from one of the bedrooms. When these were brought to their attention the first night they said someone would be in touch nobody called or reached out. The second day got a generic email asking how the stay was. The location is great parking is easy just go in with your eyes open as this is very clearly a heavily used and not well cared for unit

Several maintenance issues: AC didn’t work (filter was frozen), water pressure in toilet to flush was minimal so got clogged, 1 toilet ran all day despite maintenance looking at the tank, transition strip broken on stairs to trip on, electrical outlet falling into the wall/wallplate not affixed to wall. Bathroom fan is broken downstairs.
TVs: there are 3 in the unit. Only 1 had a Roku so the other 2 weren’t functional without one as well. Maintenance bought 2 but it doesn’t matter when WiFi strength was never good. TVs and phones could not connect to it consistently. Was told that WiFi is a known issue in the building and that the quality could not be fixed. Also, it’s not a secure connection so could not get on the WiFi on some devices even if it did work.
No outlets near beds - very old building and unit. City is putting in a pier (not disclosed by host) = LOUD.

As soon as we were contacted about the maintenance issues, we responded promptly at 9:00 AM and had our maintenance team dispatched to address them. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with things like low water pressure or a running toilet, and we did our best to resolve those as quickly as possible during your stay.
Regarding the WiFi, the building uses a centralized network, which is not advertised as private or high-speed. We also recommended the use of a VPN for additional security and access, which is a common solution in shared or public networks. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to upgrade or alter the building's internet infrastructure.
We also want to clarify the comment about the view. The unit is located on the 17th floor with a beautiful, expansive view up and down the beach. Any nearby construction, such as the city’s pier project, is temporary, unrelated to our property, and not something we are informed about in advance. While we understand it may have impacted the ambiance, the view itself remains unobstructed and as advertised.
We value honest reviews and guest experiences, and while we understand this stay had its challenges, we feel we responded quickly and appropriately to each issue reported. We always aim to ensure our guests have a great stay, and we’re disappointed this one fell short for you.

Million dollar views!! So nice having two balconies. Spacious condo. Washing machine loud best to run when out. Dryer didn’t dry well. Maybe we didn’t do correctly. 2 beach chairs umbrella and kid shovels provided. Highly recommend.

The place was dated and could use new furniture. The dinette chairs were horrible. The refrigerater did not properly close. The bedroom dressers in the main bedroom were very beat up and needed to be stained. The oven handle came off in my hand but i was able to repair that muself. The floors were sagging. We could not use the washing machine, it had a note on it saying it was loud but working. We used it one time because it was so loud we litterally thought it was going to explode. Im not saying ill never stay there again but definitely not in that unit.
