The location was peaceful and quiet, yet still very convenient to restaurants and entertainment without the noise or heavy traffic. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the space was perfect for our small family of three (two adults and one teenager). The unit was well-stocked with plenty of linens and towels, and the amenities made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The only small suggestion would be to add pot holders and a drying rack or pad for dishes, but otherwise everything was just right. We felt safe, comfortable, and relaxed the entire time. Highly recommend!

The condo was exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was beautiful and clean and there were plenty of extra towels. The balcony view was great as well…right above the pool so my kids could go down and I could watch them from the comfort of the balcony. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway with the kids.

Overall this was a great place to stay. Clean, easy to check in and check out. If we were to come back to Myrtle beach this is where we would stay. Only thing I want to make aware is parking was very difficult for a suv. Also if you want something within walking distance to food or treats this location is not for you. We however wanted to be away from the rush, so it worked for us.

Condo is nicely redone and comfortable. The property is also nicely kept. Fantastic location closer to North Myrtle where its quiet and the beach isn't overly crowded. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay in the South Wind 204 property fully met my expectations. The property is very clean and well maintained. The amenities such as the pools, hot tubs & lazy river were great and exactly as they were depicted in pre-rental photos. This condo is on the 2nd floor of the building and very convenient with regards to the parking which is also located on the 2nd floor. It’s located very close to all Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. The property is a short maybe 3 to 3/12 mile drive to the boardwalk.. It’s next to a very nice residential area. I found that to be a real advantage, less noise and no traffic jams. The view of the beach from the outside balcony is excellent. The beach was groomed on a regular basis and the property is located is just steps away. There are lifeguards on duty and beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. One small complaint it that the company renting this equipment sets up about 30 umbrellas directly behind the property. That’s nice if you want to rent one, but forces you to move a little further down the beach if you brought your own equipment, many guests did just that and for the most part those most of the rentals weren’t even used. The overall property seems very safe because of its location and property surveillance. The rules are reasonable and appropriate to enhance your wellbeing. This property was rented through Luxury Beach Rentals. Their service before, during and after was excellent. If anytime in the future I decide to vacation in the Myrtle Beach area they will be the first company I contact for either the property at South Wind or elsewhere.

We did have an issue with the TV and it was remedied quickly. I appreciated receiving the texts from the rental company during our stay. They made me feel they appreciated our business. I truly did not expect this quaint condo to exceed my expectations but it did! Photos posted above are very accurate. The physical location was the very best part. Across 52nd Avenue are several awesome local hangouts and a marvelous Italian diner, reservations needed! You will not be disappointed. Pine Lake Tavern is also located in the same plaza! Great happy hour choices and menu. Local talent play Wednesday and Friday in both taverns. This condo was perfect for the two of us in so many ways. The second floor location, easy access condo, the adorable tasteful decor, nice size bathroom with plenty of space for cosmetics/toiletries and cozy bedroom were just some of our favorites. Nice sized television in bedroom and living space. The second floor balcony is nice but it is above the noisy very busy hot tubs. The hot tub is loud when in use. Folks tend to shout at one another because of it. Because the three pools were too cold to use, folks hung out in the hot tubs. One evening a group was using inappropriate language I shut the sliding door. Because of the location you hear constant conversations all day and all night. There is one pool semi under roof - no windows, cool air blows right through through the bottom parking lot it shares space with. extremely cold water. If windows enclosed this pool and the pool heated it would be a great asset to the resort. well maintained and clean resort. Pool area beautiful. Easy beach access. Perfect size. Don’t hesitate!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The pool under the building does get inclosed in November. October we are still having beautiful summer like temperatures so there isn't a need. We would suggest renting on a higher level, you were on the first level directly above the pool. We do have condos on every floor of the building. We are so happy you enjoyed your time and hope you come back.

The beds were cozy, the kitchen had all the essentials, there was a vacuum, broom and 2 mops so you can clean up after yourselves. The 2nd floor was a very nice location looking over all the pools. The Oceanview was beautiful. I do wish check in time was earlier then 4:00pm, by the time you get in the room and unpack the day is over. 2:00 is a fair time for check in, in my opinion.

This was our first time in Myrtle Beach and we will be back. We loved the property, it was very clean. Beds were nice and firm for a good nights sleep. The only thing we would of liked to see is a bigger trash can but for the space it was fine. The lazy river kept the kiddos entertained for hours!! Highly recommend.

This is the second time my husband and I stayed in the same condo at Southwind. The place is very comfortable and had everything we needed. I like the fact it is away from the busy vacation area but close enough to access restaurants and entertainment.

Pros: clean, well-furnished, quiet, easy access to beach and pools, keyless entry Cons: lack of places to store clothes and hang wet towels, pathetic pull-out mattress, lack of balcony privacy from pool area. We would gladly return to this facility, but would choose a condo which was further away from the pools and had a suitable pull-out bed.

Great view, quiet, comfortable beds and great linens. The decor looks just as good as in the pictures. Liked being on the 2nd floor and being able to park on the 2nd floor so no need for elevators The hot tubs were amazing. Strong jets, super warm and 3 to select from. Three pools with one inside. This was a surprise since this building was not nearly as large as some of the other surrounding condos. Would rent again if we return to Myrtle Beach.

Reviewer Comments: We love Southwind, the area is clean and quiet, in a residential neighborhood yet close enough to restaurants, shopping, etc. This room, 204, was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, roomy, and decorated nicely (and modern). I generally request a higher floor, but rooms were limited. Being on the second floor, where we were required to park, was super convenient and the view of the beach was still amazing. Short walk to the beach. We had a great time and comfortable room. I would definitely book this room again.

Check in was super easy - called the # to ask if unit was ready bc we arrived a bit early- We were good to go! Opened the keyless [so awesome] door to find a gorgeous & extremely clean, awesomely decorated unit overlooking the pools/hot tubs & beach. All linens and cookware were great quality. Thanks for a beautiful week while we were moving our son to college! We would love to return again soon!!!

Once arriving a packet of parking passes were laid out on counter for us, along with dish detergent, sponge, paper towel, toilet paper, and a start on anything we could need for our stay. The room was very modern and up to date. Well kept and SUPER clean. This condo did not disappoint. The only negative my husband and I found was the mattress’s were super hard. And we are not ones to typically complain about a mattress. It was very hard to get a good night sleep on and I found my husband when I would wake up on the couch (trying to sleep). I feel like that is the only negative I can find with this property. It was great being in 2nd floor there is no one below the room so I didn’t feel like I needed to be super quiet walking around late at night. And the room is very convenient to the parking garage area which is also on 2nd floor. So we did not have to use elevator or walk far at all. I would definitely stay at this property for future vacations.

It is close to everything in Myrtle Beach but is removed from the noise and crowds. We were there during the tail end of bike week and worried about bike noise but we didn’t hear any of it. Only downfall is being so low on the 2nd floor you can’t really see the ocean off the balcony due to trees but you have a great view of the pool area.

The property I stayed at had a code for the door so I didn’t have to “check-in.” Instructions were emailed about a week prior to my arrival so I knew what to expect. I had 2 issues (very minor-trash key and cable) to arise and they were handled the same day. “Checking out” was just as painless as “check in.” I will definitely book with them again.
