Location could hardly be better, and my family loved the amenities. Host responded immediately to one problem. Beds were comfortable, water pressure good, AC worked great, view is terrific.

We were please with the facility. Unfortunately we’re did not get warm weather for most of our stay so didn’t get to enjoy the outside facilities until the last few days of our stay. We were surprised to see a cross country skier take advantage of the snow on the beach. Tgat was an unexpected sight. We were disappointed that the Lazy River was being repaired. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property.

With a friendly staff and a long list of amenities to make your stay comfortable. This is a great place to spend a long weekend or a vacation. Our stay was a long weekend and I can’t say enough. The convenience of the on site restaurant and lounge, made breakfast easy and the lounge for a drink before turning in.We will definitely be lotto book another stay.

We watched the news and left our 2 very expensive 4-bedroom apartment on Tuesday. No guidance about need to evacuate or how to handle meals, etc. The only communication was to move furniture from the decks. We notified everyone that we were leaving Tuesday. No attempt by you or the facility to tell us if we could return. This was my second year at Island Vista and my last.

Plenty of space. The view was spectacular. The beach was clean and not crowded at all. This was the first time my grandchildren had seen the ocean and they absolutely loved it. Parking was annoying. Spaces were small for a bigger vehicle. Other than that,it was a great trip and we would go back.

Only negative of the condo was the dryer it definitely struggled to dry clothes. However we planned for it and it required us to complete dry cycle twice. The property was great the kids loved the pools inside and out. I loved the proximity of the pools to the beach. Some people were at the pool while others were at the beach, but we still felt all together. Chairs were always available at the pool and they a policy where people cannot snag chairs early in the morning to claim their spot all day. I loved this. Only negative is they were mulching and the smell after the rain was unbearable. Around the pool area the chairs sit on grass not sure the grass is ideal. It looks like they resod it yearly. I would recommend putting in pavers. While the property was slightly outdated we would definitely stay here again.

This condo was perfect! We had everything we needed and the property is just as pictured! The pools and the beach are so convenient. The property is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again. You don't have access to pool towels but we didn't have any issues getting what we needed. Highly recommend and worth the money!

This condo has 4 bedrooms. We had plenty of room for married kids and some grandkids. We had so much walking the beach and finding shark teeth. And the grandkids swam at least twice a day. Best holiday time with family.

At night there are fire pits to sit around while a live guitarist plays under the palm trees! The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful! Our unit was clean and just as pictured. The kitchen was lacking a coffee maker when we arrived but within an hour of calling - one was delivered to us! Also I’m glad I brought my own fry pan from home as the one supplied was small and not a non stick pan. The sleeper sofa in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on. But the beds were great! The last few days of our stay the dishwasher stopped working and someone came to look at it even though it was a Sunday. He said someone would be back the next day to fix it- which to my knowledge didn’t happen, so I had to hand wash our last days dishes before check out. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return!

We did have issues with a tv loosing power, a bath tube drain not draining and clothes dryer not drying very good. One phone call and the maint tech was there within 24 hours fixing it all. And the beach nor pool were crowded at all. This was even over the 4th of July. Only thing was that the VRBO price was a bit higher than what the Resort charges. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

My husband and I brought our grown daughters and their families. We stayed in a 4-bedroom condo. There was 6 adults and 6 grandchildren. We all had plenty of room. The resort offered something for every age group. It was perfect. The room could use a little updating and maybe a little more time on the deep cleaning. The view took us away from noticing much of anything. Loved it and will return.

Everything about this condo is wonderful. The pics in the ad are exactly what you'll see when you walk in the door. We used the pool and the exercise facility daily and had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed and we ate in almost every meal. Thanks for a great vacation!

My family and I have been staying at Island Vista since it opened and the first time we stayed in a four bedroom. Love that every bedroom had its own full bathroom! I don’t know why every place I stay the kitchen items always fall short on pots, pans, baking dishes, wine openers. Also, the couch is getting pretty worn out, I would consider replacing soon.

The rental company was helpful and pleasant. The grounds were also well-managed and as described. The photos available are a true representation of the property. This is the first time I have been to Myrtle Beach and would stay at the place again. We will book through this company for vacations in MB moving forward. We were a group of women ranging in ages from early 30s to mid 40s. This property seemed appropriate for our group, and I think it is also very family friendly.

Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room my extended family of 10. Use of 2 beach chairs and umbrella all week was an extra nice bonus. **Some negatives not fault of condo owner: lots of waiting for elevators and since not renting thru Island Vista resort we were not entitled to use of luggage carts, fitness room or kids club. So be prepared to make lots of trips to room with luggage and other vacation supplies since you have to carry everything. Some suggestions: get nicer furniture for balconies and new refrigerator since freezer door would not stay closed form wear and tear. Otherwise wonderful condo and will definitely be back next year!!

Great views, clean space, pools nice, nice beach-not too crowded. Really have nothing bad to say about the whole process. We usually do an oceanfront house in nags head so carrying our beach stuff back to the room each day was a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker. I would recommend island vista to my friends and family. We had an excellent vacation at Myrtle beach/island vista.

We left several clothes at the condo after checkout and they mailed them back to us; I'd say that they must have some honest workers. I was called on the day before we left to see if there were any maintenance issues that needed attention. That made me feel pretty good that they care about the next persons stay and want to maintain a quality product. We will use them again without question.

This condo (we rented both 910/920) was the perfect size to give everyone plenty of personal space, and tons of fun family gathering space. The location on the beach was absolutely perfect, no other large hotels on either side so our beach front was very quiet. The reserved beach chairs/umbrella were a luxury; however, we really needed two sets so we rented another one ourselves. It would have been nice to have one set for each unit, but that was really our only 'problem' with this rental. Overall, it was one of our best beach vacations and we would definitely return!

There were 9 of us staying in a 4 bedroom and we had plenty of room to spread out. The view from the balcony was amazing and it had plenty of room for all 9 of us out there at one time. The entire complex was nice and the Cypress Room restaurant had great food, great prices and a very friendly staff. The main pools, lazy river, kiddie pool & water basketball were all great too, and the beach was amazing!!! It was also nice that you get 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella, on the beach, included with the price of the condo. It was cloudy and rainy for almost our entire stay but we still had a great vacation. Will definitely stay there for our next vacation to Myrtle Beach!

The kitchen was fully stocked with much more than we expected, we have stayed in other units in this building which were the exact opposite. The views are amazing from both balconies and plenty of space for our family of 12. The kids had plenty to do and the onsite restaurant is a must try. We will be back to this condo and highly recommend.

Everyone had enough room yet there was space to be together. The beach and pools were never crowded. You could see down the beach at other condos and their beach area was always crowded.
