The place was as advertised. The ocean view was excellent and being on the 5th floor was just high enough where you didn’t hear too much noise. We’ve stayed at this resort a few times over the years and it has also been a positive experience. This was the first time though not going through the resort and it was all pretty seamless. Communication was clear and check-in and check-out were very simple. We for sure would stay again. One more note, the water pressure in the shower was awesome.

Very nice place and I would go back. It is on fifth floor center of building overlooking the pool area. You can hear the outdoor bands from the patio but all noises ends by 10pm or so. The garage is very tight if you drive a pick up it will fit but may take som maneuvering. Good part is if you park in fifth level you are very close to the condo for loading.

This was our second year staying at this particular unit, and we still love it! My wife particularly enjoys the live entertainment down by the pool each night. Since the unit is only on the 5th floor, it really comes through and is very enjoyable. Being able to park on the same level as the unit is also a very nice feature!!

The condo is clean and nicely decorated. It felt vey cozy. Even in January, the views were beautiful. We saw a school of dolphins from the balcony. And we enjoyed hot tubing both in doors and outdoors each night. The 12 year old boys loved playing in the heated indoor pools too. We will definitely stay again.

The home was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. The beach view and pools are absolutely amazing! The resort is clean and in the the perfect location!! The home had every cooking utensil needed except for a mixer. The beds are really comfortable and my family loved the showers. Be mindful that there are no luggage carts available to you in you rent through a third party, however, you can park on the same floor as your room, which makes it better. We will definitely rent this condo again.

You could sit at the table and enjoy the ocean view while eating with your family. That was amazing. I cook alot when we go on vacation, the only thing I would add to kitchen is a mixer. Rooms and bathrooms clean. Mattresses were so comfortable. We were able to park so close to our room on fifth level. The pools were a little cool, lazy river was very chilly so we used hot tubs. Tiki bar closed the first day we arrived so we had to use restaurant for liquid refreshments. The restaurant bar was amazing and not too far from pool so it wasn’t so bad. Over all we really really enjoyed the condo and facilities.

The property was very clean when we arrived. The condo that we booked looked exactly as pictured and there were no surprises. Being right on the beach with the two pools on the property along with the indoor lazy river and swim area for kids was great. The condo was the perfect size for two families. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. We really enjoyed our stay!

This property was in a great location in N. Myrtle Beach and had very nice amenities. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. This condo has everything you should need. The living room/dining room/kitchen are has plenty of space for everyone to go about their business. Plenty of tableware, glasses, ultensils. the bedrooms are all a nice size. Not cramped like alot of condos. The beds are comfy and the showers are amazing- LOTS of water pressure. The soaking tub in the master is a delight. The balcony is so relaxing to sit and watch the sunrise and set. the pools are refreshing and having the ocean so close was perfect.There was some night time entertainment which was nice to listen to while you were on the balcony. There are also some beach toys and beach chairs for your use. Over all we didnt want to leave . this is one of the nicer condos we have stayed at. ATTN managing company :My only negitive is the knife block in the kitchen needs replacing. the knifes are dull,broke or rusty

Island Vista is a fantastic resort in many different ways. The views are awsome, it is well kept and you absolutely can not beat the location. Super helpful employees, always available. On property security was a plus! Beautiful property. Only downside is that there was no extra toilet paper. Would think for the price the place would be stocked with extra toiletries and laundry soap, instead of just starters. But, all in all it was a great experience. The in property restaurant was great! So happy it is a ways down the beach from the main strand. Felt safe.

This was a great place for our family of six! Had a gorgeous view and everything was exactly how it was stated in the listing. A little difficulty with the TV but after working on it for 30 minutes we were able to figure it out. It was unusually cold this week so the indoor pool was a godsend! Reviewer Comments: My husband and I visited the Island Vista Resort during the week of November 12th 2020 and were absolutely amazed at the opulence of the resort. We rented unit 511 through Luxury Beach Rentals and upon entry to the unit could immediately tell that the condo was well maintained and meticulously cleaned. Each of the three bedrooms came fully stocked with fluffy, clean bed linens, towels, washcloths, and toiletries. The kitchen was also well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal although it was our wedding anniversary and we opted to cook as little as possible. The oceanfront view from the sliding glass doors in the living room and master bedroom made us feel like we were on a luxury cruise without the boat.I would like to say thank you to the owners of this condo for providing such comfortable and super clean accommodations during this particular period in our countries history. We were a bit apprehensive about travel and not knowing what to expect from our accommodations but all those fears were laid to rest once we walked in the door. I would also like to add that I counted maybe a total of 10 couples at the resort during this time and maybe 30 people on the beach so there was no worry of social distancing or finding a comfortable private area on the resorts lush oceanfront lawn area or on the beach itself. As far as masks go the hotel staff, retailers and patrons were fully compliant and consistent in following the SC mask mandate. Thanks again to the Island Vista and Luxury Beach Rentals. It was so nice here we extended our stay by a day but plan to return in the very near future.

We are both in health care and let’s face it, it has been a rough year. We have been staying at Myrtle Beach for over 20 yrs and this has been one of the best vacations! The condo and Hotel are gorgeous with everything you Desire. We only went out shopping one day as the relaxation at Island Vista kept drawing us back. The owners have thought of everything including the beach chairs just waiting. It is clean, safe and most of all this hotel at main Myrtle is away from the others with lots of open beach access. The views from the large balcony at sunrise and sunset are to die for. I can’t want till next time.

We wanted to take a quick vacation prior to the school year restarting and due to COVID we didn't want to fly. Once we came across this listing we knew we had to book it! It was well worth the wait. Everything was as described. The location was perfect. There's nothing that can beat the sounds of the ocean right outside your window. The pool was right there and because of the lower occupancy throughout the building it was almost like our own private oasis! The indoor pool was barely ever used which was great for my children. We felt relatively safe from COVID during usage. The beach wasn't overcrowded either. The room was well stocked as far as kitchen supplies. As with any rentals, there were a couple of things we noticed such as the phone line wouldn't work, master bedroom sliding door wouldn't lock (only a hazard if you have young kids that can slide it open w/o your knowledge)...but that hardly was anything to stop our experience! (LOL) All and all, I would definitely recommend this property and I would definitely rent again! Thank you!

We had an amazing time. Beautiful place. Nice staff members. The beds are comfortable. Very clean. We had the master sweet and slept to the sound of waves every night. The resort was family friendly. We loved Steve, the maintenance man, was so cool. We chatted with him a lot. We loved the police officers too. One was a retired cop that really made sure the place was looked after. We felt safe and relaxed. The check in staff was really sweet. All the staff was super respectful. They held doors for you and laughed with you. They had great attitudes. If I could add one helpful tip: a cart to haul our stuff back and forth. My husband was huffing back and forth to get our stuff. They don't have a luggage cart to use. I packed heavy bags. It's too bad the resort can't keep one for your place or rent it to guests, or something.

It was high enough to see the ocean and all the surrounding events and activities but not too high. You could park literally two doors down from your condo on the same floor. Everyone was super friendly including the management staff. We were putting together a new bouncy chair because we had a teething infant with us and maintenance came at 10 o’clock to bring us a Philip head screwdriver. For some reason we didn’t have one in our car and the man stood and laughed and talked with us about a sweet crying baby while we tightened all the four screws. We had a wonderful time. We would certainly stay again and again.

My sister and I took my three sons and their friend, (ages 18, 18, 16, and 12), on a quick trip as a graduation present. The unit is spectacular!! Plenty of room for these growing boys. I have nothing bad to say about it. Being on the 5th floor was perfect. Loved that we could park on 5th floor of garage and the unit is just steps away inside. No long waits for elevators. Security has a strong presence on the property but made us feel safe. The pizza delivery person said we were staying on the nicest two mile stretch Myrtle Beach has and that the locals referred to it as the Golden Sands. Two of my boys were sick while we were there. One went to urgent care and the other had to go to the ER. The Urgent care and a Level 1 Trauma Center is minutes from this location. I have zero bad reviews for either place. Our care was excellent. All of the nicest restaurants are also minutes away. It’s a perfect place to stay with a family if you want to get away from the south side of Myrtle Beach and stay somewhere nicer. The pools are nice and the indoor pool area is beautiful. Loved having two beach chairs and umbrella included with the unit. They are in a perfect location just steps from the pool. I do wish the poolside Tiki Hut haha poolside grill. You can order food at it but comes from the inside restaurant and takes a little while. The drinks we are little expensive also. Other than that we had a wonderful experience here and would absolutely stay again.

Since the oldest is married, I wanted a 3 bedroom condo so everyone could have their privacy. The master bedroom was huge, the bathroom even bigger. The other room with a king bed was actually 2 twins put together but it worked for my daughter and her hubby. Last bedroom had 2 full size beds and worked perfect for my other two daughters. The open living room/kitchen area was awesome. Enough seating for everyone at the table, living room area or the balcony. This condo was easy to get to and easy for parking. A few things that I wish I knew before we went are 1. Both a coffee pot and a Keurig. I thought just a Keurig. 2. There are two garages, park in the northern one on the 5th floor. Condo is 2nd from garage door. 3. Bring box of garbage bags if you making any food in the condo. 6 of us went through a lot of garbage. 4. You get the one nice umbrella with 2 chairs on the beach but it was really hot so we bought another umbrella. Bring them if you got them! I didn't do any but you would need the HE type of laundry soap if you bring it. The only thing that we found incorrect during our entire stay was that our parking passes had the wrong leaving date on them and the front desk quickly corrected that for us....otherwise everything about this condo was perfect!

Room is 20 feet from level 5 garage. I loved the key code door lock! Nothing required all day when at the beach. Loved the fact an umbrella and chairs was set up everyday for us automatically on the beach! Beautiful clean condo! Some noise through walls but not bad. Hotel/condo is by itself so the beach is not very crowded at all. Wonderful! Be aware to get arm bands for pool at the front desk at arrival. luigi's restaurant not far away was awesome and Kirk's Ice Cream Parlor, awesome, a few streets over! We will stay here again some day.

I am that person that spends hours over several months looking for the perfect vacation rental for my family. When I saw this condo, I knew it would be amazing! But it actually exceeded all of our expectations. The complex is in a great location with in Myrtle. There isn’t another complex that is big nearby, so the beach in front is basically all yours. Plus... This condo gives you an umbrella and chair rentals for the week. That was amazing! The complex has everything you could want. All of the kids had a great time. The condo was amazing! It was very upscale with nice furnishings. Lots of room. Anything that you would need, it has. The only thing that they could add to make it better would be a couple of pizza pans or cookie sheets. We do fix a few dinners in and wanted to put a few things in the oven. The glass baking dishes worked fine, but aluminum would have been great. That is basically the only thing that’s kind of needs. Everything is hoigh end. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

I don’t know where to begin describing my stay at Island Vista unit 511. It was wonderful. Upon arriving in Myrtle Beach, I contacted the property management rep, Lauren, who allowed me to check in about an hour earlier than my scheduled check in time. Which was great after being on the road for 7 hours we were ready to get settled. Lauren was a pleasure to speak to throughout the entire booking process. She was very responsive to emails before an during our stay. Upon arrival to the resort, the lobby looked kind of dated and had very dim lighting. I was worried that the condo would look the same. But to my surprise! It was anything but!! It was beautiful. It looked like it had been professional decorated. It was beautifully decorated but still felt like a home away from home. Not one of those places so modernized you’re afraid to touch or sit down. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. There was everything I needed! The heated outdoor pool was lovely and and the beachfront access was great! The kids enjoyed the indoor lazy river and pool area as well. We did need trash emptied twice during our stay and housekeeping was very quick to respond to service request. Also, the condo had free WiFi and a smart tv so the kids were able to watch Netflix. Another plus was immediate access to the condo from level 5 of the garage. I like the convenience of just pulling in and getting right to my room without going through the lobby and elevators ( a plus when carrying bags or groceries). I could go on and on about this amazing property. Book your stay, you won’t regret it!!!

Couple concerns we had was the parking at the Island Vista resort. Very tight! Not a lot of room for vans and bigger SUV type vehicles. Also, if you order a pizza from the Island Vista resort for carry out, they still add an 18 percent gratuity to the pizza. None of this spoiled our trip though. Nice big rooms and very comfortable. This unit is well maintained.

Only complaints with this unit are that the lighting throughout is very dim. In the bedrooms, you can barely see anything in the evening. Made packing a challenge. Also, in the master bedroom there must be a piece of furniture covering the a/c vent because it is noticeably warmer in the master bedroom and bathroom! The solution is to crank up the a/c so the rest of the people are freezing, just to make the master BR liveable. Also, there needs to be many more towel racks or hooks. This unit is obviously meant for a family or a group of 6 people and there is nowhere to hang wet bathing suits and beach towels to dry. Last - the "no heat/air fluff" setting on the dryer does not work - the heat still comes on at this setting. It will ruin your delicates so beware.

Thank for your review and the feedback. We are always striving to be better and part of that is listening to our guests. Because of your suggestions we have added additional towel hooks in each bathroom. We have also added 100 watt LED bulbs in the areas that needed more light in the evenings. Great location with limited beach traffic and good amenities. No real negatives except the king bed in the front room has two mattresses pushed together and it needs something to fill the opening.
